Job Summary
Front Desk/Guest Services Representative needed for part-time shifts at two Glen Ellyn recreation centers. Responsibilities include providing quality customer service to the public, handling program registrations, reserving rooms, processing mail, data entry, and clerical support for management. Duties also cover informing participants of class changes, handling cash and POS transactions, and maintaining confidential information. Ideal candidates are outgoing, dependable, with solid math skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to work independently or as part of a team. CPR/AED and First Aid certification or the ability to obtain it is required or supported by the organization. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; some college experience helpful. Job is at-will with flexible scheduling including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Previous customer service and/or office experience required
- Strong communication skills
- Solid computer and keyboard skills
- Cash handling experience highly desired
- High School graduate or equivalent preferred with some college or training helpful
- Reliable transportation to and from work
