Job Summary
Receive telephone calls, greet visitors, and direct clients to the appropriate program manager while maintaining accuracy within critical Air Force database systems. Manage class and workshop schedules, including the Transition Assistance Program, and input data into AFFIRST and DOD TAP systems with at least 85% accuracy within two business days. Send reminder emails to workshop attendees and generate monthly client usage reports. Maintain the front desk appearance daily by aligning materials, reporting inoperable equipment, and performing light housekeeping such as dusting and trash removal. This full-time role at the 66 FSS/FSH Military & Family Readiness Center on Hanscom AFB, MA, requires seamless operation of the front desk and strong interpersonal skills to work with a diverse population. Personnel must pass an Information Assurance exam and complete mandatory training as deemed essential by Air Force Directives.
Required Qualifications
- At least 12 months of prior customer service experience in a business or customer support environment
- Must be eligible for a Common Access Card (CAC)
- Requires a favorable background check and fingerprinting
- Must complete required network access documentation within 24 hours of receipt
- Must be able to dress in appropriate business casual attire
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Strong working knowledge of data entry devices and web-based applications like Microsoft Edge and Chrome
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Windows
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively work with a diverse population
- Basic understanding of military protocol
