Job Summary
Front Desk Coordinator supporting a physical/occupational/speech therapy clinic, handling front desk operations, patient check-in, scheduling optimization, EMR data entry (Theraoffice), HIPAA-compliant patient confidentiality, and coordinating with clinicians. Responsibilities include greeting patients, managing appointments, processing faxes, generating reports, reconciling co-pays, entering patient demographics and plans of care, obtaining updated prescriptions, assisting patients during therapy, educating patients on equipment and exercises, maintaining a clean and organized treatment area, inventory management, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year of medical office experience preferred
- 1 year of customer service experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Google Suite
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- HIPAA compliance familiarity
- EMR familiarity (Theraoffice preferred)
- Data entry accuracy
- Scheduling and appointment management
