Job Summary
Front Desk Coordinator/Clinic Support Associate handles front desk operations and assists clinicians to ensure a welcoming patient experience. Responsibilities include greeting patients, answering inquiries, scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, data entry into EMR (Theraoffice), processing faxes, generating reports, reconciling co-pays, handling insurance information, and supporting therapy sessions with patient comfort and safety. The role requires strong communication, confidentiality under HIPAA, proficiency with Google Suite, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced outpatient clinic environment. Monday-Thursday 3PM-8PM and Friday 2PM-6PM; in-person, Plainview, NY. Education requirement is a high school diploma or GED; patient care assistance and clinic operations support are core functions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- One year of medical office experience preferred
- One year of customer service experience preferred
- Proficiency in Google Suite
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- EMR familiarity (Theraoffice preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
