Job Summary
Greet patients and visitors with a warm demeanor, manage administrative tasks including patient paperwork, sign-in, security procedures, and scheduling. Answer phone calls, take messages, redirect calls, and handle inquiries regarding appointments with professionalism. Verify insurance information, process patient balances, and reconcile copayments daily while maintaining accurate patient records in the system. Keep the front desk and reception area clean and organized, adhering to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Notify providers of patient arrivals, review service delivery, and remind staff of service delays to keep appointments on schedule.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules as needed
