Front Desk Coordinator

Job Summary
Monitor the front entrance for proper entry and exit of Club members, visitors, volunteers, and family members while ensuring check-in and check-out procedures are followed. Respond promptly to family or visitor concerns, maintain a healthy and organized front desk environment, and keep the Lost & Found area clean. Secure materials and equipment, track memberships accurately, and communicate efficiently with Directors regarding member issues. Read and answer emails, manage supply requests, and assist in volunteer coordination, recruitment, and special events. May be required to close or open the building, drive the Club van, and provide First Aid/CPR. Work clubhouse hours that vary by season and service needs, maintaining professional communication via phone and email.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working with children
- Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role
- Ability to communicate effectively with children from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in high-stress situations
- Exceptional organizational and customer service skills
- Ability to exercise appropriate, independent judgement
- Ability to use multiple software programs
- Ability to work independently as well as in groups
- Ability to meet deadlines, take initiative, and self-direct
- Ability to multitask and prioritize with and without guidance
- Must pass a reference and background check
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with children preferred
- Experience using Canva, Salesforce and Microsoft suite products a plus
