Job Summary
Front Desk Coordinator / Clinic Support Associate in a physical therapy clinic. Responsibilities include greeting patients and visitors, answering inquiries, directing inquiries, and efficiently checking in patients; manage appointment scheduling to optimize provider time and room utilization; monitor patient flow and notify clinicians of arrivals or delays; process faxes and perform EMR data entry (including patient demographics, treatment plans, and updates); generate reports and maintain accurate records; ensure accurate co-pays and financial reconciliations; set up new patient cases in Theraoffice and verify insurance information; obtain updated prescriptions and plans of care from treating physicians; assist patients during therapy with heat packs, pool entry, and prescribed routines; educate patients on equipment use and exercise techniques; maintain HIPAA compliance and a clean, safe clinic environment; perform light cleaning duties; manage inventory and supplies; provide exceptional customer service and professional communication with patients, co-workers, and management; ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and adapt to changing priorities; requires ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks; HS diploma or GED required with 1 year of medical office experience preferred, and EMR familiarity a plus; salary range is $17-20 per hour (annualized to $35,360 - $41,600 with standard full-time hours).
