Job Summary
Front Desk Clerk in the City of Chattanooga’s Community Development department performing routine clerical duties: screening incoming calls, taking messages, maintaining calendars, data entry into databases, photocopying, filing, inventory management, and greeting the public. Responsibilities include answering routine questions, directing inquiries to appropriate departments, organizing and distributing documents, restocking supplies, and serving as a backup for the Administrative Support Assistant. Requires good interpersonal skills, reliable attendance, and the ability to complete tasks promptly with or without accommodations. Must have a High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience) and six months of related office support experience. Schedule is Monday–Friday, up to 25 hours per week, in-person at 1151 W 40th St, Chattanooga, TN.

- High School Diploma or G.E.D. and six months related office support experience, or any combination of equivalent experience and education/training sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
