Job Summary
Greet participants and families, provide information about program services, and manage sign-in procedures throughout operating hours. Enter data tracking program participation and assist the Administrative Assistant with data entry or material development. Answer questions from parents and staff while distributing information to youth, staff, and caretakers. Ensure office procedures align with PAL policies, agency calendars, and funding contractual obligations. Foster a safe, welcoming environment by building positive relationships with youth, colleagues, and caretakers, and respond appropriately to time-sensitive mental health needs. Attend required training sessions, meetings, and special events.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma / GED
- At least 18 years old
- Minimum of two years' work experience in a non-profit agency working with youth
- Able to work 15 hours a week (3 hours a day, 5 days a week)
- Able to attend 15 hours of orientation prior to the beginning of programming
- Able to attend scheduled staff meetings and professional development throughout the year
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively
Desired Qualifications
- Associates degree
- Bi-lingual in Spanish, French, or Chinese
