Job Summary
Provide guests with a friendly and efficient check-in and check-out experience, and share general information about hotel amenities and events. Sell rooms using strong customer service skills and yield management; resolve guest questions and complaints in a professional manner. Complete registration forms, input data into computer systems, retrieve and distribute room keys, and print hotel bills while handling payments via cash and credit. Communicate with Executive Hosts about hotel stays; run necessary reports, balance transactions at shift end, and operate during computer outages. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, 6 months of front desk experience, ability to use basic office machines, 45 WPM typing, 10-key experience a plus, English communication skills, knowledge of the hotel key system, ability to work flexible shifts, stand for long periods, multitask, perform money handling, and operate LMS/CMS/Hot Sauce/Espresso systems; must obtain/maintain any gaming-regulation certifications as required. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 6 months front desk experience
- ability to utilize basic office machines and telephone
- minimum typing speed 45 WPM (10-key experience a plus)
- ability to communicate with guests and staff in English
- knowledge of hotel key system
- ability to add, subtract, and audit accounts
- ability to operate LMS, CMS, and Hot Sauce/Espresso computer systems
- ability to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations
