Job Summary
Welcome and exit members with hellos and goodbyes, answer telephone inquiries promptly, and resolve customer concerns using strong communication skills. Anticipate member needs, process payments and receipts, and drive revenue by promoting products and special promotions. Maintain cleanliness for up to 50% of the shift while delivering efficient service in a fast-paced retail environment. Provide accurate information regarding business procedures and policies. This role requires a friendly demeanor, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision. Candidates must be comfortable with a flexible rotating schedule and possess a solid work ethic.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years old or older
- A High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Six months face to face customer service experience in a retail environment
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities
- Solid work ethic with strong decision-making, problem resolution skills
- Self-starter who takes initiative with minimal direction and supervision
- Comfortable working a flexible rotating schedule
- Superior customer service skills
- Ability to talk and hear
- Ability to sit, stand, and use their hands and fingers to handle or feel
- Ability to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands
- Ability to climb or balance
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift and move objects up to 75 pounds
