Job Summary
Welcome and exit members with hellos and goodbyes while anticipating their needs and answering telephone calls promptly. Resolve customer concerns using strong communication skills and maintain club cleanliness for up to 50% of the shift. Accept payments, provide change and receipts, and drive revenue by promoting products and special promotions. Answer questions regarding business procedures and policies in an exact, customer-friendly way. This role supports Planet Fitness's mission to foster positive customer satisfaction and loyalty within a fast-paced retail environment. Candidates must balance multiple tasks with a friendly demeanor while adhering to specific shift schedules based on club needs.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years old or older
- A High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Six months face to face customer service experience in a retail environment
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities
- Solid work ethic with strong decision-making, problem resolution skills
- Self-starter who takes initiative with minimal direction and supervision
- Comfortable working a flexible rotating schedule
- Superior customer service skills
- Ability to talk and hear
- Ability to sit
- Ability to stand
- Ability to use their hands and fingers to handle or feel
- Ability to walk
- Ability to reach with arms and hands
- Ability to climb or balance
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
