Job Summary
Welcome and exit members with hellos and goodbyes while anticipating needs and answering phones promptly. Resolve customer concerns using strong communication skills and maintain club cleanliness for up to 50% of the shift. Accept payments, provide change, and receipts while driving revenue by promoting products and special promotions. Answer questions regarding business procedures and policies in an exact, customer-friendly manner. Maintain a friendly, courteous demeanor while balancing multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years old or older
- A High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Six months face to face customer service experience in a retail environment
- Ability to talk and hear
- Ability to sit
- Ability to stand
- Ability to use hands and fingers to handle or feel
- Ability to walk
- Ability to reach with arms and hands
- Ability to climb or balance
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift and move objects up to 75 pounds
- Comfortable working a flexible rotating schedule
Desired Qualifications
- One-year Fitness experience
- Superior customer service skills, preferably in the fitness industry
- Open or Flexible availability
