Job Summary
Greet members and guests upon entry, assist with check-ins, and answer phones while maintaining a friendly demeanor. Execute retail transactions, process membership sign-ups and updates, and conduct tours for prospective members. Resolve member concerns and escalate issues to management as needed. Perform regular cleaning and sanitizing of equipment, restrooms, and communal spaces, plus conduct comprehensive safety walks to address facility concerns. This role supports Planet Fitness's mission to provide a welcoming, judgment-free environment for over 2,000 clubs.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- 6-12 months of experience in a customer service environment is preferred
- Willing to become CPR/AED Certified (Training provided by Planet Fitness)
- Basic computer proficiency
