Job Summary
Front Desk Associate responsible for first-point-of-contact patient interactions, scheduling and coordinating appointments, checking in/out patients, processing payments, and maintaining accurate patient records with attention to HIPAA compliance. Requires strong communication, multitasking, and ability to work in a fast-paced clinic environment; proficient in EHR and scheduling tools, with customer-service orientation and ability to balance day-to-day billing tasks and front-office operations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED; some college is preferred
- A minimum of 6 months’ experience in a customer service position required; healthcare administrative environment preferred
- Customer Service: Proven experience in customer service or patient-facing role
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems, scheduling software, and office equipment
- Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards
