Job Summary
Front Desk Agent responsible for delivering high-level guest services at the hotel front desk, including registration, check-in/check-out, PBX operations, mail and message handling, and daily cash balancing. Must be accurate with daily accounting procedures, knowledgeable about local area offerings, and able to assist guests with concierge services. Duties include pre-assigning rooms for VIPs and repeat guests, handling reservations and inquiries, following credit policies, managing lost & found, and coordinating with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction. Requires strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills, proficiency with the Property Management System and PBX, and the ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds. A high school diploma or equivalent and 6 months to 1 year of related experience are required. The role is full-time, onsite at Origin Red Rocks in Golden, CO, with a salary of USD $19.00 per hour (annualized to approximately $39,520).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; and six months to one-year related experience and/or training
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret procedure manuals
- Ability to solve practical problems and to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Ability to operate the Property Management System, capture email, and use the PBX system. Must always be accountable for balancing the daily shift bank and maintain organization and demonstrate quality service
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and communicate
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
