Job Summary
Front Desk Agent role at Wellsworth Hotel handling traditional 24/7 front desk operations. Responsibilities include greeting guests, check-in/check-out, telephone service, wake-up calls, handling mail/faxes/deliveries, maintaining guest amenities, restocking Sundry shop, completing shift checklist, and coordinating with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience. Requires working knowledge of emergency procedures, a warm, friendly service approach, and a willingness to learn and grow. Must be able to work a flexible, part-time schedule. Proficiency with Stay n Touch, Toast, Word, and Excel is noted, along with English/Spanish language ability a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
- Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Process all check-ins and check-outs according to established hotel requirements.
- Adhere to payment, cash handling and credit policies/procedures.
- Generate, print, and distribute daily reports to designated departments/personnel.
- Resolve discrepancies on the room status report with Housekeeping.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Minimum one year customer service experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
- Computer experience preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
- Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.
