Job Summary
Front Desk Agent responsible for welcoming guests, handling check-ins/outs, addressing inquiries and complaints, and ensuring smooth front desk operations. Requires exceptional customer service, strong organization, clear communication, and attentiveness to guest needs. Duties include greeting guests, managing reservations and room details, coordinating with resort departments, operating front office equipment and software, producing reports, and maintaining security and discretion. Requires ability to multitask under pressure, work on-site at Kiawah Island, and demonstrate knowledge of local area and resort services. Must possess a professional, empathetic demeanor and uphold resort policies and standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent GED
- Hospitality management education or at least one year of front desk experience preferred
- Effective conflict resolution skills
- Professional and cooperative demeanor with a positive attitude
- Passion for providing extraordinary service
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to pass a background check
