Job Summary

Front Desk Agent responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, managing check-in/check-out, operating PMS and reservations systems, handling guest requests, ensuring safety and security, promoting hotel promotions, and maintaining professional communication; requires high school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years of front desk/guest services experience, strong customer service, conflict resolution, and proficiency with PMS and MS Office; flexibility to work evenings, graveyard, weekends, and holidays; CPR/First Aid and hospitality leadership training are assets.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Post-secondary education in Hospitality Management or related field is an asset
  • Minimum 1–2 years of front desk or guest services experience in a hotel environment
  • Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills
  • Proficient in hotel property management systems (PMS) and common office software (e.g., MS Office Suite)
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to task-switch and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, graveyard, weekends, and holidays
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and security procedures in hospitality
  • First Aid/CPR certification is an asset
  • Training in customer service excellence or hospitality leadership is an asset
