Job Summary
Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests while issuing keys and escorting them to their accommodations. Handle check-ins and check-outs, collect payments for room charges and fees, and manage cash deposits in accordance with company policies. Answer inquiries regarding hotel services, dining, and local activities, and make or confirm reservations for guests. Date-stamp incoming mail, transmit messages, and maintain records of room availability and guest accounts. Post charges for room, food, liquor, or telephone by hand or machine, and secure valuables in safe-deposit boxes. Communicate effectively with other departments and enforce credit policies while reporting to work for scheduled shifts in uniform.
