Job Summary
Front Desk Agent handles guest check-in/check-out, reservations, and guest inquiries with professional and courteous service. Responsibilities include registering guests, verifying reservations and payment information, promoting the loyalty program, handling cash and deposits, issuing keys, addressing guest concerns, answering phones and in-person inquiries, assisting with luggage, and providing knowledge about the local area and hotel services. The role emphasizes friendly, accurate, and efficient service, adherence to SOPs, and collaboration with other departments; 2nd shift (1pm-9pm/2pm-10pm) is noted.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma / Secondary qualification or equivalent
- Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham or Hyatt processes and standards
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand workplace language(s)
- Must be able to read and write to facilitate communication
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Basic computational and computer skills
- Extensive knowledge of the hotel, its services and facilities; city knowledge of the location
