Job Summary
Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, creating memorable experiences by anticipating needs and delivering personalized service. Perform accurate check-in and check-out procedures, verify reservations, coordinate luggage assistance, and process room changes or billing adjustments. Resolve guest issues efficiently while maintaining a polished presence and upholding Forbes Travel Guide standards. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of hotel amenities and local attractions to provide tailored recommendations and assist with concierge requests. Accurately process reservations, cancellations, and modifications; maintain confidential guest records; complete daily reports, cash handling, and shift audits. Collaborate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, and Food & Beverage to ensure seamless operations. Work in a fast-paced luxury environment requiring flexible schedules, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a guest-facing hospitality role
- Must be available to work flexible schedules, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and special events
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, up to eight (8) hours per shift
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 pounds when assisting guests or performing operational duties
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb as necessary
- Manual dexterity required to operate computers, telephones, and office equipment
- Ability to work effectively in a busy environment while maintaining focus, professionalism, and attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Luxury hotel, resort, or upscale hospitality experience
- Experience with hotel property management systems (PMS)
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
- Ability to remain composed and professional in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management software
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask while maintaining service excellence
