Job Summary
Assist guests with arrival and departure, manage the check-in/check-out process, code electronic keys, input and retrieve guest information, verify credit cards, handle payments and currency exchanges, post charges to rooms, and balance the house bank. Answer phone calls, provide information on local attractions, and promote HEI Hotels and Resorts programs. Resolve guest issues and complaints, maintain high service levels during overnight shifts, and ensure guest satisfaction through accurate data entry, problem-solving, and professional communication. Knowledge of hotel front-desk operations, guest services, and basic math is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Hotel experience preferred
- Ability to stand and move throughout front office
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency with calculator and moderately complex mathematical calculations
- Ability to use a computer system to input and retrieve information
