Job Summary
Check arrivals against correspondence, process individual and group check-ins, and escort VIPs to rooms while maintaining accurate room rates to maximize occupancy. Handle departures, process foreign currency transactions, and manage internal banking procedures with proper documentation. Respond to telephone and verbal inquiries, distribute messages, and show rooms to guests or potential guests. Complete daily pit checks, finalize shift checklists, and conduct thorough handovers before ending your shift. Maintain a neat reception area, assist with directions, and confirm reservations.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent Written and Communication skills
- Excellent Organizational and Prioritization skills
- Previous customer service experience or equivalent training required
- Experience with Opera
- Able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation
- Pushing/Pulling: Average weight 30lbs constantly
- Lifting/Carrying: Average weight 30lbs constantly
- Standing/Walking: Constantly. Standing the majority of scheduled shift
- Kneeling/Crawling: Occasionally. Completing tasks throughout the hotel
- Reaching: Occasionally
- Available for holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts
