Job Summary
Check-in and check-out hotel guests, process all payments according to established requirements, and provide information and assistance to guests and vendors. Prepare daily shift reports for the management team and anticipate, prevent, identify, and solve workplace problems while maintaining professionalism in fast-paced, stressful situations. This role requires flexible scheduling based on guest occupancy, season, and staffing needs, with no guaranteed weekly hours. Required Qualifications
- Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement
- Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary
- Ability to work well in stressful situations
- Readily available and approachable for all guests while providing excellent guest service
- Flexible scheduling availability
- Regularly required to stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time
- Variable hours based on guest occupancy, season, staffing and other factors
- Island Hospitality is unable to guarantee a specific number of work hours per week
- Desire and aptitude to thrive in the hospitality business
