Job Summary
Front Desk Agent responsibilities include greeting guests and managing check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, cancellations, and room assignments, assisting guests with questions, directions, and local recommendations, addressing guest concerns professionally, maintaining accurate guest records and room key inventory, and supporting front desk operations as needed. Requirements include experience with an IHG branded hotel being highly desired, proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), ability to manage time and complete tasks, clear communication, and the ability to remain composed under pressure. A High School diploma or equivalent is required and a stable work history is preferred. The role is part-time with a pay rate of $16.00/hr. HMC is an equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Experience with an IHG branded hotel highly desired
- Strong understand of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
- Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary
- Stable work history required
