Job Summary
Assist guests with arrival and departure from the hotel, greet customers with a friendly welcome, input and retrieve guest information from a computer system, confirm guest details and room rate, promote HEI Hotels and Resorts and brand programs, assign rooms based on guest needs, manage security measures such as imprinting credit cards and handling payments, balance the house bank, and resolve guest issues through research and negotiation to ensure satisfaction. Maintain professional demeanor, provide accurate information about hours and local attractions, and support the guest experience through proactive service and clear communication.
Required Qualifications
- Hotel experience preferred.
- Ability to stand and move throughout front office.
- Ability to input information using a moderately complex computer system.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to adapt communication style to different audiences.
- Ability to resolve conflicts and handle guest questions with tact and diplomacy.
