Job Summary
Front Desk Agent handles guest services, including check-in/check-out, resolving guest requests and complaints, and providing information on hotel amenities. Coordinates with bell/valet and housekeeping to ensure guest satisfaction and room readiness. Handles cash receipts and charges, mail/packages, and phone calls. Maintains lobby and front desk area and demonstrates knowledge of hotel room types and amenities. Requires 1+ year of customer service or hospitality experience, strong verbal/written communication, basic math and cash handling, ability to learn property management systems, multitasking, and flexibility to work evenings/weekends/holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service or hospitality-related role preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in basic math and handling cash transactions.
- Familiarity with property management systems, or the ability to learn quickly.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical requirements: Must be able to stand, walk, and use hands for extended periods; occasionally lift and move up to 20 pounds.
