Job Summary
Front Desk Agent responsible for quickly and courteously checking guests in and out using the property management system, processing payments, and providing information and customer service to hotel guests and visitors. Responsibilities include welcoming guests, registering guests, issuing room keys, providing information on hotel services and location, answering phones promptly, up-selling rooms to maximize revenue, processing cash and credit card transactions per procedures, handling deposits and bank reports, managing guest safe-deposit boxes, communicating requests to management, and addressing guest complaints with service recovery as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years customer service experience
- Ability to stand for 8 hours
- Basic knowledge of computers and software including ability to use e-mail, word processing, spreadsheet software and hotel management system.
