Job Summary
Front Desk Agent role responsible for check-in/check-out, answering and processing all phone calls, and handling special requests in line with hotel policies. Maintains knowledge of hotel features/services, rates, and promotions; processes guest payments and bank activities; coordinates with Bell Person for luggage; handles overbooked or walked-in guests; manages wake-up calls and distributes faxes; communicates guest information to relevant departments; resolves guest complaints and ensures guest satisfaction. Opportunities for career progression include supervisory and management paths. Requires High School Diploma or GED, one year hospitality experience, and basic computer skills.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
- One year previous experience in a similar position in a hotel
- Basic computer skills required
