Job Summary
Front Desk Agent for Blue Lake Casino & Hotel provides front desk operations support, registering guest information and settling guest accounts, while promoting hotel/casino services. Responsibilities include handling reservations, greeting guests with door, bell/valet service as needed, operating a multi-line phone, maintaining guest profiles in the property management system, handling guest inquiries and concerns with discretion and confidentiality, and ensuring accurate balance of tills. Requires high school diploma or GED, prior front desk/reservations/bell staff experience, valid Blue Lake Tribal Gaming Commission license, TIPS certification within three months, and proficiency with computer applications and Visual One PM software. Must be able to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Front desk, reservations, bell staff and valet training or previous experience required
- Must maintain a valid and active Blue Lake Tribal Gaming Commission License
- Training for Intervention Procedures (TIPS) certification within three months of employment and maintain certificate thereafter
- Proficiency in computer applications and familiarity with Visual One property management software
- Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays & special events as needed
