Job Summary
Front Desk Agents greet and register guests, provide outstanding service during their stay, and settle accounts at checkout. Primary duties include registering guests, making/modifying reservations, acting as hotel operator and concierge, and delivering attentive, courteous service before arrival and throughout the stay to maximize room revenue and occupancy. Education requires a High School diploma or equivalent; college coursework in related field is helpful. Experience in a hotel or related field is preferred. The role requires strong multitasking, communication, problem-solving, numerical/financial literacy, and the ability to work a varied schedule (evenings, nights, weekends, holidays). Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with hotel products and guest services is expected.
