Job Summary
Front Desk Agent at Arbor Lodging is the first point of contact for guests, responsible for greeting guests, processing check-ins and check-outs, distributing room keys, registering guests, verifying reservations, assisting with requests and questions, handling payments, and upselling facilities and services. The role requires handling reservations, pre-registrations, room blocking, assisting large groups, guiding guests to local dining/shopping options, resolving guest issues, and coordinating with other departments to fulfill guest needs. Strong hospitality mindset, clear communication, organizational skills, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift light weights are essential. Required Qualifications
- High school Diploma or equivalent
- Credit Card handling experience preferred
- Hotel Front Desk experience preferred
- Experience with hotel reservations software preferred
- Outgoing and friendly demeanor
- Positive, upbeat demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills
- Team-oriented
- Ability to stand for 8 hours at a time
- Ability to lift 20 lbs. on occasion
