Job Summary
Greet and register guests, handle check-ins and check-outs, and manage reservations while maximizing room revenue and occupancy. Operate the telephone switchboard, answer inquiries about facilities and services, and deliver packages, mail, and messages to guests. Maintain proper operation of the Front Desk computer system, handle requests for information and amenities, and assist in emergency procedures as required. Work a part-time evening shift from 3pm to 11pm with weekend availability.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Willingness and ability to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Operational knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Understanding of hotel products and guest services (i.e., lifestyle, full service resort, etc.)

- College coursework in a related field
- Experience in a hotel or a related field
- Positive and upbeat personality with a desire to deliver outstanding customer service to guests
- Ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, and problem-solve for internal and external customers

- Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
- Effectiveness in handling workplace problems including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems

- Ability to work with and understand financial information, data, and basic arithmetic functions
- Ability to perform numerical operations using basic counting, adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing
- Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions and/or short correspondence and memos
- Ability to use logic to define problems, collect information, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, interpret information, and deal with abstract variables for unique or unfamiliar situations
