Front Arena / Market Making Specialist - AMAS 100% (f/m/d) - (Contract through our external payroll partner, immediate start for 12 months, possible extension)

Job Summary
Design, develop, test, and deploy robust functionalities integrated across trading and back-office ecosystems to support market making and quoting. Ensure end-to-end ownership of critical services, guaranteeing high availability and minimal production downtime. Lead integration efforts between Front Arena and upstream/downstream systems while performing root cause analysis to resolve complex production incidents. Conduct thorough reviews to uphold quality, security, and alignment with architectural standards, and identify system improvements to boost performance and operational resilience. Uphold ethical conduct, risk discipline, and compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements within an agile (SAFe) delivery framework. This role focuses on the AMAS–PRIME interaction at Julius Baer, a leading Swiss wealth management group headquartered in Zurich.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Computer Science, Financial Engineering, Financial Mathematics, or a related discipline
- 5+ years of hands-on development with AMAS, AFG, AIMS and AMAS interaction with PRIME
- Solid understanding of capital markets, particularly structured products and equity derivatives
- Good knowledge of Market making using AMAS and PRIME
- Very good English language skills (written and verbal)
- Customer oriented with focus to support an organisation in developing and providing solutions
- Very high level on self-motivation to drive initiatives and initiating changes
- Willingness to bring in new ideas and initiate changes
