Job Summary
Oversee maze operation, maze talent, scare zone talent, and Wage and Hour compliance while ensuring safety and Intellectual Property expectations. Direct Maze Performers, Ushers, Area Talent, and Stage Techs to maintain guest flow and resolve guest concerns. Ensure gags and stunts are performed safely and distribute talent evenly for optimal guest experiences. Hold team members accountable for policy violations and model the expected guest service level. Assist with department-specific training and complete required Six Flags Leadership classes and the SIT program prior to the start of Fright Fest. Available to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- 18+ and have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience
- Possess a valid CA driver license
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Must have a basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must possess strong leadership qualities
- Must be able to constantly stand, talk, climb, walk, reach, use finger movement, grasp, feel, speak clearly, hear conversation, use hearing acuity, see near and far, stoop, bend, work in extreme cold, heat, sun, temperature change, wetness, humidity, and work with noises over 89 decibels (with the use of hearing PPE)
- Must be able to lift over 51 lbs with assistance from a co-worker or the use of a mechanical device
- Must be available to work various shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays
- Must be able to attend additional Six Flags Leadership classes and complete the SIT program prior to the start of Fright Fest
- Must be able to cross-train in other departments to round out supervisory training
- Must be able to hold all Team Members accountable for not meeting expectations or policy violations
- Must be able to oversee compliance with all company and Wage and Hour Compliance guidelines
- Must be able to assist Guests with Guest concerns and resolution
- Must be able to ensure that gags and stunts are being performed safely
- Must be able to make certain that Intellectual Properties (IP's) are properly represented
- Must be able to maintain Guest flow and safe operation of the maze or scare zone location
- Must be able to ensure that the maze operation maintains Six Flags and IP expectations
- Must be safety minded
- Must be able to actively support goals
