Job Summary
Organize, conduct, and evaluate daily football practices? No—this posting specifies responsibilities for managing freshman volleyball activities: assist in organizing, conducting, and evaluating daily volleyball practices; supervise and maintain equipment, facilities, and locker rooms; ensure medical attention is available; attend varsity games and required IHSAA/IGHSAU meetings; perform scouting as directed; communicate with Head Coach, Activities Director, parents, students, and staff; uphold school, IHSAA, and IGHSAU policies; model integrity, sportsmanship, and a positive work ethic; stay informed on rules and best practices through clinics and literature; provide team information and records to administration; and support the booster club as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Coaching Endorsement or Coaching Authorization as mandated by the Iowa Department of Education, Iowa Board of Educational Examiners, Iowa High School Athletic Association, and Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union.
