Freshman Girls Basketball Coach

Coaches freshman girls basketball with responsibility for developing skills and sportsmanship, maintaining discipline, and organizing practice schedules. Responsibilities include managing team and individual development, supervising athletes and facilities, coordinating transportation and paperwork (budgets, attendance forms, insurance records, end-of-year reports), communicating with parents and Booster Club, and adhering to school athletic policies and governing rules (MSHSAA). The role requires leadership, ability to motivate, knowledge of first aid and injury policies, and use of effective coaching techniques to foster school spirit and positive attitudes. Qualifications include Missouri certification preferred and relevant coaching experience. The position involves on-site coaching duties, collaboration with staff/administration, and active participation in professional development activities such as in-service meetings and clinics.
