Job Summary
Instructs athletes in fundamental skills, strategy and training for basketball while promoting the Pursuing Victory with Honor Program; assists Head Coach in program functioning, safety, equipment inventory, supervision of student-athletes, and coordination with faculty, staff, and parents on academics and college recruiting; maintains records, applies flexible planning, and implements current coaching practices; serves as a mentor and campus minister within a Catholic school community. Requires effective communication, teamwork, adaptability, and the ability to work evenings/weekends as needed; physical duties include standard coaching activities and potential exposure to athletic facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Must be certified by the Arizona State Department of Education or AIA as a coach and meets applicable NCA requirements.
- FBI Fingerprint clearance completed
- Safe Environment Training and signed the Code of Conduct
- Having a current Arizona State driver’s license is desirable.
