Job Summary
Stock and display fresh produce by trimming, washing, culling, and crisping items to ensure quality and freshness while rotating stock using first-in-first-out standards. Greet customers, assist with special orders, and respond to inquiries or complaints while ensuring all floor sets, signage, and visual presentations meet quality standards. Receive deliveries, verify order and invoice accuracy, and note discrepancies per departmental procedures. Organize back stock and warehouse storage, maintain a safe work environment, and communicate produce needs and problems to the Market Manager. Perform other duties as assigned. This part-time role offers $18.00 per hour with flexible evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in length
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs. in weight
- Ability to use hand truck, cart, box cutter, ladder, label maker, and cleaning supplies
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a grocery setting preferred
