Job Summary
Operate on a production line in a refrigerated food-processing facility to wash, prep, cut, dice, assemble into finished goods such as salads, dips, trays, and package and seal products. Read and mix recipes for food service items; use kitchen equipment; maintain food safety; demonstrate good knife skills; lift 50-60 pounds; stand for long periods; Alaska/Anchorage food handler card required within 30 days of hire; training provided to operate equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Alaskan or Anchorage food handlers card required within 30 days of hire
- Able to read and mix recipes for food service items
- Able to lift 50-60 pounds
- Must be able to work in a refrigerated environment (36 degrees)
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Able to understand direction and utilize machinery after training
- Able to use kitchen equipment as necessary in preparation of food service items
- General food safety knowledge
- This is a safety-sensitive position
