Job Summary
Fresh Produce - CPG Sales role focusing on growing accounts across a broad commodity mix through proactive relationship management and consultative selling. Responsibilities include calling on meal kit, foodservice distributors/operators, retail programs, and food processors; delivering tailored sales presentations; maintaining sales reporting and account analysis; managing truckload, commodity, and channel-specific activity; monitoring market pricing and supply chain dynamics; coordinating with sourcing/operations on product availability and program sales; and representing the company’s sustainability and regenerative agriculture mission in all customer interactions.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in produce sales with a track record of building accounts and exceeding objectives
- Understanding of the produce supply chain, perishable product dynamics, and commodity market pricing
- Demonstrated ability to build accounts through relationship management, sales reporting and account analysis, and sales presentations
- In-depth knowledge of produce varieties, growing practices, the sustainability movement, and produce merchandising
- Comfort calling on meal kit, foodservice distributors/operators, retail programs, food processors
- Bilingual preferred but not required; excellent communication and presentation skills required
