Job Summary
Greet customers, provide prompt and courteous service, and maintain a positive, friendly atmosphere through teamwork. Assist the Produce Manager with ordering, receiving, and displaying products; rotate merchandise to ensure freshness; and set up, trim, and package cut vegetables, fruit, and salad tomatoes. Trim and package fresh produce daily, maintain quality standards, and ensure all items with COOL labels are properly maintained. Enforce food safety policies, keep workstations and department areas sanitized at least twice daily, and coordinate training for fresh pack associates. Adhere to scheduled shifts and company attendance policies.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions
- Ability to perform routine and repetitive tasks
- Ability to have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basis
- Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts
- Ability to adhere to company time and attendance policies
