Job Summary
Fresh Manager responsible for the Fresh department on the shop floor, driving availability and high standards through effective execution, waste and date code compliance, and ensuring safety and legality. Leads the shrink agenda, drives trading activity with clear actions, and coaches the team to improve routines, processes, and selling with personality to drive basket size. Focuses on delivering available stock, reducing waste, sustaining store standards, and developing the team to empower ownership and engagement while maintaining excellent customer service.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as Team Leader or Supervisor in a retail environment
- Operational knowledge on food or non-food departments
- Knowledge of improving availability, reducing waste, and managing shrink
- Experience developing teams and managing change through leadership and building resilience
- Strong organisational skills and great customer service
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings
