Job Summary
As a Fresh Department Clerk, responsibilities include observing store rules, adhering to health regulations, packaging and pricing products, and maintaining customer relations through prompt and courteous service. Must handle perishable merchandise efficiently, utilizing FIFO rules, and maintain equipment in good working order. Requires physical ability to lift up to 70 pounds, work in refrigerated areas, and respond to emergencies. High school education is preferred, along with successful completion of relevant training. Candidates must be drug-free and able to fulfill employment verification upon hire.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Knowledge of various cuts and types of meat products
- Ability to read and follow instructions for operating equipment
