Job Summary
Prepare fresh fruits, vegetables, and salads for the cut fruit area while ensuring quality, freshness, and adequate quantity. Generate sales, merchandise products, and maintain outstanding guest service by tactfully handling inquiries and assisting peers. Comply with food safety regulations, implement correct preparation techniques, and operate equipment including pallet jacks, knives, and scales. Uphold merchandising standards, ensure work area cleanliness, and perform assigned tasks safely with attention to detail. Work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. High school diploma preferred; food preparation and retail experience helpful.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to stand for an extended period
- Able to lift 40 pounds frequently
- Use of knives and other equipment
- Move and handle boxes of product throughout the store
- Regular on-site attendance
