Fresh Cut Clerk I (Part-Time)

Job Summary
Maintain appropriate stock levels in the fresh cut department by observing sales floor and cooler conditions, producing, stocking, and replenishing products as needed. Execute the boomerang theory by delivering outstanding service to all guests, assisting with product selection, and resolving concerns to ensure satisfaction. Contribute to overall cleanliness by organizing and sanitizing work areas, shelving, and sales floors. Ensure all quality standards are met, including maintaining accurate food safety logs and meeting quantity expectations by 10 am and 5 pm. Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule is required, with adequate notice given for occasional absences. This part-time or full-time position supports Festival Foods' commitment to providing guests with delicious, freshly cut fruit and veggie platters across over 40 Wisconsin supermarkets.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to stand in place for long periods of time
- Ability to work in a cooler
- Ability to walk in the store
- Ability to bend, stoop and kneel regularly
- Full range of upper body motion in order to lift product
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks for prolonged periods of time
- Functional sensory abilities in order to visually monitor the store
- Ability to create attractive displays
- Ability to operate equipment
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis
- Ability to effectively engage with guests, leaders, and retail sales associates
- Thorough understanding of safety requirements and company safety policies
- Proper lifting techniques
- Box cutter safety
