Fresh Buyer

Fresh Buyer responsible for purchasing all floral products and maintaining inventory to meet the Fresh Salespeople’s and customers’ needs. Primary duties include purchasing and negotiating product from vendors, evaluating vendor quotes, placing daily orders, ensuring stock in coolers, maintaining active relationships with growers/vendors, communicating with co-buyers, and training/evaluating staff. Requires strong sales technique, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, teamwork, organization, multitasking, confidentiality regarding costs and sources of supply, and proficiency with MS Office. Education: High school diploma or GED; Experience: 2-5 years in sales (floral industry highly preferred).
