Job Summary
Deliver synchronous and asynchronous French instruction to high school students while monitoring progress through Stride K12's learning management system. Personalize learning for all students by differentiating instruction based on mastery levels and augmenting content with appropriate tools. Maintain grade books to ensure academic integrity, make placement decisions, and communicate regularly with parents and learning coaches to support individual goals. Prepare students for high-stakes standardized tests and travel approximately 20% of the time for face-to-face professional development and student testing. Work remotely from a professional home office, typically 40+ hours per week between 8-4 or 9-5, with a commitment to maintaining positive rapport with families.
Required Qualifications

- Active state teaching license
- Ability to clear required background check

- Ability to maintain a professional home office without distraction during workday
- Ability to travel occasionally throughout the year to various school functions
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers to interpret and produce numeric, tabular, and graphic representations of student data, and use it to drive instructional decisions
- Ability to embrace change and adapt to ensure excellent student outcomes
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
- Ability to rapidly learn and adapt to new technologies and teaching platforms
- Ability to maintain teacher certification/professional development hours and fluency in K12 systems, programs and curriculum
