Job Summary
Report to the Front Desk upon arrival and maintain established classroom routines while implementing lesson plans left by the regular teacher. Monitor student behavior during transitions and activities, take daily attendance, and ensure the classroom is clean and organized at day's end. Communicate with the regular classroom teacher or administration regarding student progress or concerns, while following all school policies and procedures. This on-call, as-needed position requires a Bachelor's degree and a valid Colorado Department of Education Substitute Authorization or Teacher License. Regular attendance is required for this role at Global Village Academy, an innovative charter school providing language immersion education.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) from an accredited college or university
- A valid Colorado Department of Education Substitute Authorization or Teacher License
